So, I've got a bike in bits, Experience frameset, Athena groupset, bullhorns etc. My old tri bike essentially.

I hate trying to get plastic mudguards to stay in place and stop rubbing as happened the last couple of winters with SKS and Cruds.

So, winter bike, proper mudguards, something I can tour on if necessary...Gazetta or buy a whole new Della Strada?

Or stick mudgaurds on a cheapo Eastway?

Blue one definitely, a very pretty colour

Yeah, the answer is to buy both of course. ;)

THe blue one is a single speed track geometry. I think all I'll need to buy is a new ss hub and chainset.

I'll need mudguards - are those loops for mudguards?

I can put the mash bullhorns on, Athena brakes, think I've got brake levers too.

The only thing is that it's nothing like a tourer, and I may struggle my occasional commute on it.

Okay, done some maths and the frameset, plus miche crankset and wheels gets me up to 560. The whole bike is available for 660.

So, that 660 plus full mudguards and rack mounts...against the 720 for the tourer...

Just need to have the balls/funds to pull the trigger now.
