The guys from GCN go to Denmark and are totally blown away.

I have always been impressed how the Danes have never advertised Denmark in the UK. I can never recall seeing a christmas TV holiday ad for Denmark. I first came here in my 40s and wondered why I had never been told about it.

After this film, I think we will get an influx of UK cyclists in 2026.

Who wants to hire a bike and bike packing kit? 😄

Been a few times and loved it, all be it a long time ago. First time would have been the proper legoland. Very expensive for coffee and alcohol from memory.

Actually just watched it and it surprised me as I recongnised bits of Esbjerg at the start and also my first stay in Denmark was at the Munkebjerg hotel they visit at the end. Food seems to have changed a little, all be it we were on a tour so possibly peasant food was served back then.

I live 40 minutes from the German border. Alcohol from the border shops is insanely cheap. But I do not drink. 😉😁

I think the GCN crew pushed the boat out with the hotels and food. But there are hundreds of free shelters and plenty of places to get good food at reasonable prices.

My Bro's granddaughter is on holiday there at the moment. He showed me some photos and it looked beautiful.

I loved riding Denmark. The terrain is flat but varied, unlike the polder of N Germany.
The small campsites are really good.

My only regret is leaving the country with enough small change in my pocket for a coffee and pastry.
