I feel their pain. I only stopped having exam nightmares forty years after taking my last one. I used to wake up and burst into giggles of joy.

Now it's not about how the results are for the person sitting the exams, it's all about how they make the school look.

Grandson has just got his and he is dead pleased as he has the grades to start his electricians apprenticeship in two weeks time.

I've already heard what I regard as a horror story. A colleague's niece lived in China for 10 years and her parents were disappointed that she "only" got an A and not an A*. As long as they've tried their best, any grade is a pass in my book. If they don't get into what they want to do, they can try again or explore other options.

Never worry about exam results. "Worry" about doing the best job possible in the exam by working beforehand.
