Hi,

I am looking for some fingerless gel gloves for summer use. When i look on the internet they all claim to be gel type but I have no indication of how much gel, Id prefer quite a lot to help stop the vibrations for a long ride i have coming up

Anyone know of any ideally fingerless but also consider others

thanks

Specialized bg gel are the best gloves I've ever used. Tried altura too, giro and pearl izumi, the latter just ended up really pongy!

2014 specialized are £30, can get the 2013 for £20, but limited sizes

You might want to consider a thicker tape too, specialized phat (if can cope with black), fizik performance or lizard skins. The 3.2 mm lizard is very thick and spongy, and quite expensive too

+ 1 for the Specialized BG mitts. Think I may have bought mine from Evans (tried on before buying) but not sure.

If it's a road bike you are on, maybe also try some gel tape or padding on the bars.

Can anybody tell me about the ladies version - padding as good as the men's?

Get the gel ones, those aren't they. A number of places on the net with older models for sub £20. Non gel nowhere near as good

These may fit, quite cheap, although men's http://www.cycleways.com/store/prod...-Gel-Gloves/?gclid=CLPS0Na-770CFXMPtAodznUA5A

I take a medium in men's mitts, but XL in ladies so check sizing
I found a similar gloves, it is £7.24 from store called www.tmart.co.uk

I've had a pair of Altura F260 Aerogel for a few years now and they're still fine.
The only problem I have with them is that velcro closing doesn't stick well any more.
