I like them, well, more their early than later stuff. They were and are all excellent musicians. Peter Gabriel has done some wonderfully original things, and whatever you say about Collins he's an amazingly versatile drummer. He's done a lot of surprise session work on some well-known tracks by other people, and his Brand X collaborations were really good, if less well known.

Yes, you are right. Some of Peter Gabriel's early stuff was very good and thought-provoking. I'm afraid I find Mr Collins' voice intensely samey and irritating though, talented drummer that he may be.

I watched up to 'and then there were three'. Genesis ceased to exist from that point onwards

I sat down to watch it late last night (I had taped it) with Mr Summerdays. I had a really enjoyable time watching it. Then I went to bed but had to get up again to find my iPod and see how many of their albums I have digitally, only 3. I know I have more in vinyl including the Lamb Lies Down on Broadway but they are in the attic. I may be making a purchase today.
