If you're going over the Simplon from CH to IT, the road down to IT is much steeper than the road up from CH, there are usually lots of roadworks (with traffic lights, so have yor brakes ready) and the road to Domodossala in IT is a series of potholes. Now that's what I call Eeek!!!
