Gent-Wevelgem name change

So, from 2026 GW will be renamed as 'In Flanders Fields - from Middelkerke to Wevelgem'. Sounds like some ballad sung by Kathryn Jenkins. I suspect everyone will just call it GW. Imagine being the winner and having to do the press conference - "I am so glad to have won 'In Flanders Fields - from Middelkerke to Wevelgem"!

Don't know is my honest answer. Could well have been but not something I had noticed.

I thought the sub name was just 'In Flanders Fields'. That would have been sort of ok, but that full title is nonsense and asking for abbreviation.
