Genuine mains charger for HTC phones

I am after the adaptor only (output power is 5V 1A). I've still got the usb cable.. Has anyone got one lying around and would like to recycle it, please? Cheers

You should be able to use any USB adaptor - that was the whole idea of the new EU mobile psu regulations.

When I am travelling I only need to carry my Samsung adaptor to charge my Samsung Galaxy tablet and my Sony Ericsson phone.

TBH I bought a few chap microUSB chargers off that Ebay. They're dirt cheap.
Same charger does my HTC phone and the Kindle.

My neighbour's cheap one from ebay went bang while charging.. Worries me if it is not genuine

Why not use a USB lead plugged into your computer/laptop?

... and a £2 adaptor for converting Micro to Mini USB lets me use the same charger for a Garmin Edge - and really cunning is a "T adaptor" that has 2 x micro USB plugs and allows simultaneous charging of 2 devices.

I've always used Samsung adapters, they're smaller and cheaper.
