When I had the Viscount Painted at Mario's I also took along my 1957 George Brooks to be refinished the same as the bike my dad had back in 1952.
I know that mine is 5 years too young but as I was born in 57 I am Ok with it. Plus it took me 5 years to find a George Brooks frameset that I could buy. Good job the seller did not know I was prepared to pay whatever he asked to get it. The build will be early Campagnolo Grand Sport, Airlight Hubs, sprint rims and GB brakes Chainset will probably be a Stronglight all I know is the original was alloy so Stronglight should be a good guess. Pivo Stem, Reynold bars and seat pin.
