Go! Eurostar is a breeze. There's only time for three or so bottles of wine on the way out (take your own + a sandwich or six) AND proper glasses!
Exit Gare du Nord and cross immediately to 'Aux Villes du Nord'.(Bar with the red canopy
) Say you know 'the two Englishmen who come every November for the wine and buy the lady roses'...you will be treated like royalty (and be able to pay our last bill). 
Get a hotel up in Montmartre, and every morning can be a stroll down to somewhere! Rue Lepic, a cemetery or two, nip into Angelina's opposite the Louvre for a hot chocolate and sticky bun...oh ok then, patisserie viennoise or whatever...you'll be in the clip joints all night I suppose, so sleep when you can - Parc André Citroen was good, flea market - if you're in the market for fleas, and Bois de Boulogne at night for a bit of 'lycra action' Go Anthony - it's fun! Oh and don't forget your skates! Friday night rollerblading from Montparnasse - kicks off at about 10pm I think..
