Why do you lot take such pleasure out of somebody else s misfortune very sad.

It is a rare example of natural justice.

Driver (wrongly) tells cyclist to get on cycle track, driver then gets a practical demonstration of why cyclist shouldn't be on the cycle track.

The driver was extremely impolite to the cyclist, this comes back round to the driver in the form of a bruised arse.

Hardly his misfortune. He thought he knew better, he honked, he stopped his car, he got out of his car. He learnt his lesson.

To be honest. What happened was probably the best out come. The driver has learnt their lesson as to why many cycle paths are crap and will show a bit more respect in the future.

My only regret with this thread is that there isn't a video!!!!

Have you been on the drambooey tonight or something. Where in the OP does it say he was abusive to the driver. The drivers behaviour instigated the situation, if the driver had an emergency then he wouldnt pull over for yet more abuse.

IF you were replacing an ambulance and rushing to a hospital with a patient, would you stop mid-journey to remonstrate with someone, and get out of your car to do so?
