I've toyed with 'human organs in transit' on the back of my big white bike. 'tis true, after all.

I had a blue van driver pull out on me, I had to brake hard not to hit the back of his van. When he stopped at the junction 50 yards further on, he claimed to have given me plenty of room. So it's not just white vans !!

These people are just plain thick and they let them drive.

WVM = lower than average intelligence in charge of larger than average vehicle. Trouble waiting to happen.

Anyone ever tried wearing something like this?

Pretty much pointless. 1meter at 20mph by a car is great, 1 meter at 60mph by a tanker is a bloody joke!

Altho' a white van driver, my own van, I wouldn't dispute that there do seem to be a fair number of idiots in charge of these vehicles. My theory is that they treat it like a car which is usually narrower and don't bother to think what it is like to be passed by the larger, wider vehicle. Also you don't have to be very bright or able to get a job driving a van. I'd like to see a special driving test for these vehicles, some of which are very large yet any car driver can get in one and (ab)use it.

Here for rides.
Why only yesterday I remarked to a woman after we had both been cut in on and queue jumped "I bet he drives like that too!" Yes, four of us were SMIDSY'd in the checkout queue in Waitrose.

People are inherently, and remarkably, selfish creatures. Doubly so when in a tin box. Getting annoyed isn't going to change evolution. Accept this and get on with your ride.

"I didn't hit you did I? What's the problem?"
[throws knife at driver, knife embeds itself in the headrest mere milimeters from the drivers head]
"Jesus! F***! What the hell are you doing?"
