Getting out of santander

I am riding from santander to nice. It's quite tricky getting it of santanders. I was thinking of taking the ferry to Pedrana or Somo. Any suggestions?

Santander owes me over £1000 in fines from the Ombudsman, the deeds for my house and some £1800 in interest and payments they are still taking in error!

Getting out of Santander is a good idea

It's not tricky at all, I rode in last June. Take the N-623 out, pick up the N-635 at Muriedas east towards Astillero then pick up whatever minor road you like. The roads are clearly marked, the 623 is busy & b.o.r.i.n.g, but for the most part had a good wide shoulder. It's nice easy ride to Castro Urdiales with a surprising amount of cycle lanes, from there to Bilbao is a ball breaker.
