Was coming home today when a black Ford Focus swerved into me from the other side of the road, missed by inches. Here

I gave chase as I was absolutely fuming, he must have seen me as he was originally going to turn right, then changed his mind and went left. I am going to be investing in a helmet camera as yet again I failed to get the reg number as the red mist descended on me. In a way I am glad I didn't catch up to him as I was have rammed my cycle pump into his face.

FWIW, my suggestion would be to keep the moral high ground by staying calm, being polite and doing nothing to endanger yourself further - and if you think a camera would help log incidents where you've encountered dangerous driving, then fine.

Interestingly I was nearly side swiped by a woman driver today HERE (near the place where the toddler ran out a few weeks back, too)

My side of the road was clear, parked cars to my right, stupid woman came flying at me in the opposite direction instead of waiting 2 seconds. Missed my body and bag by about half an inch. She was looking right at me too.

My advice - get a helmet camera, and log every near miss or collision, even the ragers shouting abuse and put the details into stopSMIDSY!

I must admit to getting a bit fed up with the commute at the moment due to our fellow road users getting giddy with the lighter mornings and evenings making do stupid manouvers ! Got the Niteriders on full beam (not blinding or strobe) but still they come..... sigh !
