Gevenalle shifters

Hi,

Does anyone have any experience of Gevenalle shifters?

Im looking to use some for my Specialized Awol, so I can use MTB gearing with them. They seem to be more Cyclo cross inspired, but with the gear range they allow I thought they would be popular with the touring crowd too. I cant see many reviews - anyone with any experience of them care to enlighten me?

I use Gevenalle shifter on my drop bar with Alfine 8 in my road/city cannondale, attached to TRP Hylex brake lever,
great experience with it! and the only elegant way to combine Alfine + drop bars + hydraulic disc brakes.
