I'm trying to figure out the ideal pressure for the front and back tires on the above mentioned E-bike, I weigh 87 kilos.

Yes, I know I need to wash the bike also :-)

Thanks for your answers!

There will be something else written on the tyre - probably not painted but it will be there

It will show the max and min pressure for that tyre - go with that
If the max pressure makes the ride too harsh then you could drop it a bit towards the minimum - you weigh less than me so it would be fine!!

Hi and many thanks for the answer.

I've looked high and low on both tires on both sides in strong sunlight. Maybe the tire is covered with muck but I can't find anything.
Or maybe e-bike tires are different than what I've used the rest of my life?
It's a Giant bike as I said.

I did find this and therefore according to the chart :
75 psi for the front
and 80 psi for the back.

I'm asking all of this as I have heard and read that one should deflate the tires a little to give more surface on rainy days and then reinflate them for regular riding.

Any more advice would be greatly welcome.

What is the make and model of the tyres - that can make a difference?

The PSI will be there - but it is normally not painted so tends to blend in
I think on one of mine it is on the opposite side to the make and stuff - hence even easier to miss.

I have Schwalbe on the front of mine and Continental on the back and the max pressure is different by about 10psi

Ok thanks I'll look more carefully. Makes sense when I was a teenager over 40 years ago I remember that when I changed the tubes.

I do know that the front tire is the original one that Giant supplies with the Giant 2020 Entour E+2 Disc (Small) and the back one a replacement as a creep flattened it with a knife.

Thank you ebikeerwidnes!

Here is the information for the rear tire =

Pneu avant pression.jpg

If I'm reading this correctly 50 max 65 psi?
This is not what the other graph said =

So I'm a bit confused.

What also would be the proper pressure for the front tire?
5 PSI less?

Thank you again for all!

There is no right or wrong pressure. I would start at those pressures and lower until tyres feel a bit too squishy, then add 2-5psi to ensure reliable performance

I read that as MIN 50 - MAX 65 PSI:

The MIN matters. I'd keep it between those recommended values.

Run it too low and you increase the chance of 'snakebite' punctures, where you hit a bump, the tyre compresses right down and nips the inner tube against the metal rim (usually on both edges of the rim, like a snakebite).

I've been using the sram page and it seems to be ok to me.

Thanks again here is the recommended tire pressure for both the front and back tires.
I changed the front as it was slashed but it is interesting to note that the recommended pressure is not identical for the two tires (not the same brand).:bicycle::bicycle::bicycle:
