Black Grape at the SECC - Shaun Ryder started arguing with the bloke doing the sound after about 3 songs and the bloke pulled the plug on him. Awful. End of gig.

Carter USM at the Barrowlands in 1993. Went with a mate as he'd been given tickets for his birthday and no-one else would go with him. Hated it. They were supported by the Sultans of Ping FC who were good, and 2nd support (warm-up act) were a little known band from Manc called Oasis. Who were dire.

Wet Wet Wet at Edinburgh Castle. Took a girl. She wasn't worth having to sit through that.

Massive Attack at the Carling Academy. My better half had a massive attack of the skoots as a result of a dodgy tuna steak before hand and we had fight to get out in time to avoid her following through. We saw 1.5 songs.

saw the sugarcubes in manchester in the early 90s. brilliant gig, but in between two songs einar örn bendicksson decides to share with the audience his love of stoke city. which makes him a scummer xx(
