Be careful where you buy them from!

I bought some on ebya a couple of weeks ago.
They arrived in good time, but when i went to use one, they were really awful.
I used an old real blade and it was still sharper
I took a closer look at them and found they were fake :cursing:

Things to look for are
The dots on the blades don't line up
The plastic looks different
The blades are not square to each other
The lube strip is plastic
The rubber at the bottom is very different in consistency
The metal clips that hold blade together are not very well aligned.

I would bet a lot of the profits are going to gangs, terrorists etc too.

Anyone else found them?

I use a 1956 Gillette Tech razor and Gillette Seven O'Clock blades, it's an analogue set-up and seems pretty reliable.

+1 for old school double edged/Safety razors. Blades cost pennies and provide a far better shave than cartridges in my experience

Excellent feelings of manliness as you apply the shaving cream with a brush too ;)

I have a double edged razor that I keep going back to despite the fact I always seem to cut myself with it!!

I'm a safety razor convert.
I treated myself to a Merkur 34c. It's nice.
The Onion does Razor Blade R+D (warning; swears alert)

Another convert to the Double-edged safety razor.
The price of Mach IX-Turbo Boost-Go Faster-Self-moisturising disposables is extortionate!

I know where my towel is
They cost way too much for what they are though :cursing:

I bought mine from http://stores.ebay.co.uk/pensale

They do me and I don't use them every day, probably once or twice a week.
Women really dig the stubbled look, don't they?

Ok, ok, perhaps I am too darn lazy and I have gotten too complacent to bother shopping around...

Plus I am more of a walk in a store person than buy online person, deliveries for me can be a pain as they are not at the times I would want or need.

Yeah I'm usually the same but found that blades can be a good bit cheaper even with delivery included
