I recall goo_mason has a nice collection of cut throats etc!
I do indeed - along with a sizeable number of old DE Gillettes, SE Ever Readys, Rolls Razors, an old SE Wilkinson Sword, plus a few modern Merkurs (34C HD Classic, Futur and a long-handled one whose name I can't remember) ^_^

My large bathroom cabinet is stuffed full of razors, shaving soaps & creams, brushes, moisturisers and classic barbershop aftershaves.

It's become a bit of a hobby, but I've managed to hold off buying any more since the start of the year!!!

Double Edge for me too.
I've been using one for three or four years. Before that it was cheap Bic disposables, which as luck would have it just seemed to suit me and would give a cracking close shave. For some reason that stopped being the case hence the DE.

Ive slowly come to the realisation that the old, and usually trustworthy bic disposables have become cr@p. Might try the DE too.

I got some 'Duracell' batteries off ebay that were so clearly fake it was laughable. Damn things rattled...

+1 for old school double edged/Safety razors. Blades cost pennies and provide a far better shave than cartridges in my experience

Excellent feelings of manliness as you apply the shaving cream with a brush too ;)

+1. Gave up on being ripped off by G*let and the other lot a year ago in in favour of a proper razor, blades, soap, brush and balm. Magic!

Boots Blade 3, shaves just like the super-duper branded ones and costs a third of the price.
