HAHA saw this yesterday on the way home. Needless to say I wasn't even in the cycle lane anyway.

That cycle lane looks a very dangerous place to cycle in with the projecting pedestrian crossing. If I knew where the priority car parking for highway engineers at the council was, I'd let all their tyres down.

It's actually the same road. Read about it this morning and I gotta say it's a crap road to walk or cycle along. Not very wide, quite straight so people tend to speed.

Looks like a place they just HAD to get a cycle lane in, to claw in the govt funding and keep everyone busy. A prime obvious example of when no lane is better.
