He, he: better to avoid: take Miller street instead at George Square, the one (I think) that corners the underwear shop. I don't ride in town, too busy looking at the shopsHow do you go at present? All the way down the pedestrian Buchanan street?
How do you go at present? All the way down the pedestrian Buchanan street?
Busy there: instead, take a left at the ex odeon, into St Vincent Street, cycle down to the lane where L'ariosto used to be (it's a di maggio's grill now), at the exit of the lane you're in house of frazers, cross into argyle street, into st enoch square, join the clyde path or the road at the back of the square.Yeah, I probably should have explained the route I take currently!
I leave Buchanan St at the taxi rank, take a right at the cinema, down Renfield St and under the Hielanmans Umbrella
Yes! That would be faster from Buchanan: a wee bit uphill, thoughHow about going all the way west along Bath Street, continuing to Berkley Street and either :
a) threading your way to Finnieston Street and then across the squinty bridge, or
b) head for Minerva Street and through the elevated bike/pedestrian walkway to the SECC and Bell's Bridge?

You want him to go backwards to go forwards?Either that or go the other way and get onto Glassford Street or High Street or somewhere in the Merchant City, like Bell Street, Albion Street, Trongate, Parnie Street etc and cycle track it from Glasgow Green et al.
