www.qm.tv are holding a poll regarding whether cyclists should be made to take a proficency test. Pop along and add your comments, I have.

I have also e-mailed gmtv regarding the caption under the picture. Hardly a balanced view!!

I'm interested to see how they intend to 'force' cyclists to take a test.:welcome:

This is just a load of bile inducing rubbish that misses a chance to say or do anything constructive.:girl:

With the complete lack of police on the beat and an over-reliance on remote surveilance (CCTV, speed cameras etc.) how would they actually stand a hope in hell of enforcing it??

Slow news day!! What a load of tosh...
Again the minority are (potentially) ruining it for the majority of competent road aware cyclists.
I am also aware that a lot of pedestrians have been in accidents while crossing roads which have been their fault...Shall we send all pedestrians back to the Tufty Club!!

My comment...

" Yes, I think a 4 year old girl on a Dawes Daintybelle should be made to pass a cycling test.
Or should that be the parent's responsibility?
Adults should have enough common sense to realise they will be the first to be killed in a traffic accident. "
