Anyone seen the adverts on the back of buses recently for "Go Compare....."

Basically it's 'save the price of a bicycle' on your insurance......

Really...........honest.....£500 - £1000 reasonable saving ?????????

When the less clued up on cycles realise that a decent bike is about £500 then yeah, I bet they're pee'd off from that one. Go Compare - you plonkers.

I like the Go Compare song, it has a nice hook with the singer but only in the extended versions. As for the advert, its stupid but plays to the populations prejudices, so it works.

Anyway, was discussing this wih my sister, and came to the conclusion that they mean "save a BSO on your car insurance".

I finally saw the ad today, what are people going to do when they realise they cant buy a proper bike for £150. Mind you I did 8 years ago in Dublin , it served me well and never got nicked ;-)

+1. I routinely turn the volume off whenever any adverts come on nowadays - so much more tolerable. Either that or we record the programme then whizz over the ads.
