I'd be keen to have a go on the track. Maybe a CC trip to Herne Hill could be organised? Although judging by the times you have posted on TTs, you would leave me miles behind, Brahan (if you can get left miles behind on a circular track!)

And definitely to do a 25 on the H25/2 (I know there's one at the weekend but I've got a cross race). Didn't get round to it this season, only did four 25s on two different local courses.

1. Build my ice-bike and keep riding all winter (my next season starts now!);
2. Learn to swim better, and perhaps gets lessons, so I can do triathalons - I want to start small next season, but at least one half or even full ironman the year after is my aim;
3. Explore at least some of the enormous province of Ontario both by bike and canoe (no, not at once...);
4, Investigate why there don't seem to be any cyclosportives in Ontario, and start one if I can.

I'd also like to do a bike race, I mean one with other riders rather than just a TT and I would REALLY REALLY LOVE to do some track riding. Does any body here ever go to Herne Hill? Maybe I could tag along some day....?

Have a look at www.theleagueinternational.com - cheap and cheerful road racing, still hurts though. But if want to try road racing, its easier than the BC route and costs a lot less.

Great. It looks like the track is closed until March now but in the New Year we will arrange something. If I don't remember, send me a message!

Thanks for that Simon. Do you ride these?

Yes. North Mids league, but most are similar formats. Handicapped starts, so groups are set off at time intervals, maybe 10-15 to a group, slower riders in front groups, fastest riders in the back group, and the idea is that it all comes together for the finish.

So you would set off in a smallish group, rather than full field of riders, which may suit you a bit more if you havent raced before.
