The lbs nearly laughed me out of the shop because it wasn't one of his bikes and a boardman I did felt likeBuild you core strength up to support your back. Try doing press ups and "the plank" which is a yoga/pilates exercise. Ask your lbs to fit you on your bike, they can usually spot really obvious fit issues.
Doing core exercises really helped me, i used to slouch on the bike after a couple of hours riding, but not anymore
I got it as a swap for a rifle looked up the spec I'm with in the frame size although he said it's more a medium and the paper work says it's a large 55.5 cm the bottom bracket is really low on itHave you used YouTube and Sheldon Brown to help the bike fit, cause of the knee pain I expect (unless you have knackered knees)
As Kies, ask the shop you bought the bike from to help. They shouldn't charge you really
