Just found this place due to recommendation, glad to be here.

I am 48 years old, recently returned to cycling to lose weight and get fit, have spent a fortune ever since :-)

Nearly 4 stone lighter, (and 2 bikes better off) since November last year, recently completed my first charity bike ride ever (Palace to Palace London, 45 miles)

Proud owner of a 1983 Holdsworth Mistral Road bike which was given to me by my cycling buddy, and a Raleigh Altare Hybrid for the canal paths.

No I'm your original 'Lone Rider'.
In my late teens,(That's going back a bit), I used to race and time trial with a club in Bishop's Stortford, where I grew up. I then joined the Armed Services and since then I've always ridden alone. It's my private time when I can just be. If you know what I mean My cycling patch is out towards Baker's End,The Hadhams, Buntingford or Manuden. Occasionally out towards Clavering. Keeping to country roads.
