Hi All,
Good news is that I have a new job and it's within cycling distance. From January 6th, I'll be a validation agent for a car insurance broker based on Cribbs Causeway in Bristol. I'll be checking no claims dicounts, V5's and driving licences for new policies, sounds like it'll be quite varied with a combination of emails and phone calls thrown in.
Continuing bad news is my brother-in-law has been given 2-4 months before he'll pass away from his cancer. He has stopped his radiotherapy so that he might be able to eat something solid this Christmas, with the oriinal cancer being in the jaw, the radiotherapy makes his head and throat swell up and he can only have a liquid diet. It also makes him very tired. More unpleasant news is that without his income my sister won't be able to afford to stay in her home. On the brighter side, the MD at her work surprised her with £200 of vouchers and when she got home that evening some colleagues were outside her home with a huge hamper full of boys toys for Paul and treats for my Sister. The landord is also in the process of handing the house over to an agency and had told them the house was too filthy for the handover, so a gang of her friends and colleagues blitzed the house for her and Paul.
