Good news for a bereft guitarist

My younger son has just paid a visit to sort out some laundry, done with his labour not ours, and he had a tale with a happy ending to tell us.

The lead guitarist in his band had a sunburst Les Paul stolen by a scrote who broke a window and extracted the guitar from the rook on the other side of the widow.

The guitarist was on the phone first thing this morning checking all of the pawn shops and thrift shops and hit the jack pot. One of the shops had a punter walk through the doors with the guitar during the telephone enquiry. The shop owner rang the police and the punter was arrested in the shop, cuffed and led away just as the legitimate guitar owner arrived to witness the first steps to justice been meted out.

Good news getting it back, he must have been absolutely gutted having it nicked. Don't know which is worse to have stolen, your guitar or your bike!

That is good news. I'm still waiting to hear about my 1962 Gibson SG, which was nicked from my flat, ooh, 8 years ago now.

Guitar. A forklift drove into my old 12 string in Frankfurt airport; I kept the dead carcase for over 10 years, hoping to find somebody who'd be able to repair it, before I finally chucked it in a skip. Wouldn't do that for a bike.

yeah, my current bike I want to last the rest of my life. I'd honestly be in tears if it got nicked. I have 5 guitars now, however one of which, Bentley, has serious sentimental value, hence her name... so yeah, which would be worse?

Hopefully if some scroat does break in, they'll see the 12 string first and take that coz it's got more strings and will be worth more innit. PS. Anybody want to buy a left hand 12 string for £60?
