In my area the hospital stopped doing hearing aid tests, adjustments ect we now have to go to Specsavers, but still on the NHS

Had mine adjusted a couple of weeks ago on the NHS , a great service
We have on-line self referral at our GP. Follow up by call from a physio and appointment as necessary.
For MrsPK a while ago it all happened in a few days.
It is not the NHS's fault it is the inefficiency of your local service providers.

I agree, who pays them? Surely with something like the nhs and Starbucks there should be national standards, not local ones.
