Good reliable computer for touring

Can anyone recommend an average-priced computer that is suitable for long-distance touring and is hard-wearing, shows the time, speed, max. speed, av. speed, day's journey and total distance amongst other functions.

I had a very good one which I used on a 4,000 km trip, but it was later stolen, and I can't remember what it was.

Just get yer sel a VDO and have done with it...
