Google Chrome Windows 7 italics problem.

I've had this problem before and have tried the usual fixes, ,none of the recommended fixes seem to work for this apparent common problem. Can't remember how I fixed it the last time.

What's happened is that all of the chrome text has turned to italics.

Any computer experts out there with a simple fix?

Suppose I could system restore / repair.

Just uninstall/reinstall chrome. It will pick up all your settings again when you login. Hopefully not the italics!!

Click the dots on the top right - Customise fonts - Standard font - choose Times New Roman

Can't guarantee it'll work but it has occasionally for me on some machines and not others .

Thanks All,
I did a restore to a couple of days ago which fixed the problem.Lost a few things on the toolbar which I'll have to reload.
Had to re install google chrome, which is a bit strange as never had to do that after a restore.
Anyway all back and running.
