Am I allowed to say 'Thank goodness that damned endless heat is over'?

I actually really like autumn and if the dryness of the year continues it should be a good one (obviously not counting the Somerset floods that started the year).

I thought the first day of a season fell on the 21st of the month?I was always told the first day of spring was 21st of March. Not that it matters, it's not like we have proper seasons anymore.

As soon as the clocks go back I cant cycle through Greenwich Park as they close the gates at 6pm, and that's my favourite bit of the ride.
