Anyone else have the Google toolbar installed?
I find it quite useful, in that I can search something at once without having to go to google.com.
But this morning a - er - new feature popped up which I didn't ask for.
Something called 'sidewiki', it occupies a narrow strip to the left of the screen which can be expanded with a click and then presumably offers you a sort of wikipedia look-up. Useful, I'm sure, but I didn't ask for it, I don't see why it should have installed itself willy-nilly....
So it took me most of today until I figured out how to get rid of it! On the google toolbar there is a little 'spanner' icon. Click on that, then the Tools tab, then you'll be able to uncheck the 'Sidewiki' box.
Just thought I'd share that with folks...
