Ah, I see .. If I had £117 spare at the moment I would be happy to spend it on one of those cameras, but unfortunately I don't ... I was just curious!

Will cease trading Rollei products effective September 2014.
Our experience with the sales of Rollei Actioncam has been difficult in regards to the manufacture of products and warranties given by the parent company.
Concerns raised through sales were connection to wifi, remotes not syncing, screens freezing, buttons breaking and many other physical instabilities. We have had over 250 Rollei S50 cameras returned to Rollei Actioncam Nz/Au over the past year with the above mentioned problems. This has been a stress on us financially, the customers in terms of time and loss of trust in the product, and we are concerned that our company is not providing the best possible service to the people who purchase from us.
Rollei Germany has not honored warranties given to us. The products are made in China and have had little or no product testing, which means simple problems become huge financial losses to the companies that franchise to Rollei. They share this burden with their international franchisees such as "us" Rollei actioncam Nz/Au - and the consumers/customers buying them.
We request that all warranties are sent to Rollei Germany (service@rollei.com), and that anyone interested in purchasing an action camera look to any other company that has a proven track record in warranty handling and product stability.
Rollei NZ is currently in legal proceedings against the recovery of loss from Rollei Germany.
