I'm no great fan of monir Royals, but I understand the Kent's get nothing from the Royal Purse, other than a grace a favour appartment. They have to pay their own way nowadays.

Poor love.
She should trying having to decide between eating properly or heating your house.
Apart from holidays in the UK once a year (paid for by a charity for my disabled son), the last time I was abroad was almost 7 years ago, for my wedding.

I mix with quite a few rich people in my work. Most of them are lovely to meet but even they have NO IDEA. I worry about this country, I really do.

I know its all relative but I don't think she's fully grasped the notion of austerity.
There again, most people spend most of their income most of the time, so even the wealthy notice the difference. And your average Fleet Street journalist has as much personal experience of austerity as a house brick, for all the bleating that goes on in their pages.

Princess Michael (loving the name Mike).

Princess Di should actually have been known as Princess Charles. It's like Jane Bloggs being Mrs John Smith when she marries. And Kate Middleton should be called Princess William. I'm sure that's why the Royal family get Dukedoms, so that we can call her "the Duchess of Cambridge" - they know nobody would want to use the old forms which seem to erase the original (female) person. You only get called Princess Own Name if you were born a princess.

I think nobody cares about Princess Michael being called Michael because we didn't get to know her beforehand and she's a foreigner.
Yesterday's Times did not have a photo of the Duchess of Cambridge. I do hope she's alright.
the second best royal letter ever sent to them.

The best is great, I'll find it on twitter and link it if I can.
