Have a drive round the housing estate for the car. At worst, get the bike fixed/replaced under household insurance if covered. ALWAYS get the reg. What may appear to be minor can cause you lots of bother. I know this form bitter experience (although I got their details). Bike only had a few scuffs, and so did I. Wasn't for a couple of weeks that I noticed my shoulder was knackered. Injections/physio/surgery and more injections, finally got sorted 4 years later !!

hey buddy....feeling great today which is surprising considering I got hit with a car!!!

it happened coming down the hill at corkerhill railway station.....going away from the college. so basically he came out the turn in to go into corkerhill and I was in the cycle lane the whole time......guy just didn't look to the right once so I could have been a truck for all he knew!!! was a clip on the back wheel at fairly slow speed.....but scary nonetheless!!! will have a look over the neighbourhood over the weekend and see if I can spot the car!!

yeah goin to have a look over the weekend and hopefully spot the car...if that fails then get there early in the morning and wait it out for him as it's a one entrance scheme! as for insurance I have none!! and the cost of getting the bike fixed aint steep but got offered a Raleigh air light for £120 which is pretty much what it would cost to fix my road bike so will buy that to get back on the road....then fix up the tdf and sell of keep as a second while getting the other serviced etc.

im truly sorry you have had so many problems yourself from ur past accident......theres a few people on here who have had the same issues and really feel for them with the long term problems they have! I got checked out at A&E....x-ray and got torn antertiors on my shouder.torn tendons in my elbow(think that's from the weighlifting) and brusied forearm bone! but really do feel good today....just no heavy lifting for 2 weeks and i'll be in the clear.

goin to do a post on the Raleigh air light for advice from you guys before buying too!

Glad to know you're not too badly injured, it could have been far worse ... No matter what happens, even if only a slight knocked off with no damage, always involve the police, I know it's difficult thinking about things, once you've had a scare like that, but always call them.
