Had a old guy turn into me tonight, mashed my bike up, ended up on bonnet then rolled off. I'm ok so far. Police called all logged and driver admitted responsibility and breathalysed (passed that) Was hit suare on from the side.

Happened on stretford road just where the hulme arch is

Errrr.....
Ouch, nasty. B)
Rest up, make sure your OK, and here's a virtual tea and ginger nut from me.

Was it dark? The oldies don't cope so well in those conditions. Last time I was with my dad in his car I was wondering if he was struggling to see. I need to keep an eye on him and say something if It looks like that's happening. Not looking forward to that conversation.

not sure i will be stiff, seemed to be quite relaxed when i was hit, it kind of rolled me onto the bonnet so when I rolled off i kind of flopped off.

Glad you're not too mashed up. Have you started browsing for a new steed yet?

As an aside, when I first started seeing my girlfriend she was living in Manchester and often went along there. It took me a little while to twig that she didn't actually have a friend living round there called Hugh March...:?:

Mate that is nasty! Take it easy, make sure you'e talked to legals, go see a doc if you haven't and most importantly have glass of something alchoholic.

There have been too many offs recently. :?:

Ouch! Glad you came off ok.
I had a car turn right across me like that earlier this year and I was dead paranoid about it happening again for a few days after. Got my confidence back in time though.
Treat yourself to a new bike :?:

There is nothing off the peg that takes my fancy, I built the bike up myself so will be wanting to do the same again. Might be that just the wheel is knackered but think i might not risk the forks as they are carbon.
took a pic right after too
