Riding out of the village, a car overtook me, and only just got back in before the pinch point.
Sadly, the green Jaguar following, impatiently trying his luck, wasn't so fortunate and skidded to a halt wheels astride the kerbing?????

NO - it demonstrates why wearing a camera whilst riding a bike encourages you to create situations out of nothing. It is obvious that the OP would have stopped and let the Jag driver past if he had not been wearing a camera.

A common opinion, held by the anti-camera brigade, is that using a camera makes the cyclist more likely to do things that produce good video footage rather than avoid the developing situation - yet more victim blaming.Ehhhh????

OP was not commiting an offense. By using a helmet camera, he will have video proof of who was to blame.
I personally, wouldn't risk spending the rest of my life in a wheelchair to prove a legal point.
Surely a camera captures evidence ie what has happened and been said?
Was he stupid? He could have done a much more stupid thing and we would never had the pleasure of ComedyPilots posts again.
