Got the chance

to do a 40-miler today. So I'm taking it. Hurrah! A decent distance bike ride. Hurrah again!

It was cold but dry. The ride was lovely apart from the last three miles where a woman reversed a large range rover-type 4x4 thinggie straight out of her drive on to the narrow lane wot I was cycling on without looking so didn't spot the cyclist in the fluorescent orange waterproof jacket. I managed to avoid a car/cyclist interface I am pleased to say, but I had a clipless moment as a result. Que sera!
