Yep but life goes on just means when I can afford it the bikes will be better quality for the money (well that's what I am telling myself)

Sorry to hear that, gutting. I am looking for a bike myself and had a test ride on a Roubaix Sport and a Tarmac Sport (both 2013 bikes) last week. The Roubaix is super comfortable (just like my current Specialized Secteur) but the Tarmac gets my vote as it really is a bit of an animal. I've also tried out a Cube Agree GTC Pro and a Pinarello FP Due. The Tarmac and the Pinarello were very very similar to ride but I have accidentally become a bit of a Specialized fan-boy so the Tarmac it is. I think.

A 2012 Cervelo S2 frame for a grand - quite tempting but Im worried I wont give the bike its due worth

They gave me interest free credit on half the bike and heavily discounted it as its a 2012 model
