I have recently been planning a group ride with some colleagues & have been trying to make the route available to all, on their mobile devices or cyclo GPS etc. I have posted a thread up recently, but unfortunately the software recommended hasn't worked.

I have created the route on Tyretotravel on my PC, to use for Tomtom sat navs & also on Routemapper app on my iPad to use as a .kml. Strange thing is though when I send the .kml file round to the other riders, only some of them can open it.

Does anyone know of a way to reliably convert a .kml or .itn to a .gpx format as these seem to be the more common file types for Garmin cyclo GPS and Strava cycling app.

I have used several online sites that insta convert them, but they never quite do it right and often when you open them in tyretotravel, they have plotted lots of points which then double back on themselves which I meticulously removed from the original file.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
