Found this in a second hand bookshop recently, remember him?

I'm not sure why but when I was a young lad I loved his TV show. I think he pre-dates all the fancy chefs on the TV now, even Delia and Floyd. Didn't he pick a couple of people from the audience at the end to join him for the nosh he'd just cooked?

My dad used to call him the galloping gormless but he did like the programme and yes he did used to get a member of the audience up to sample his meal. He sort of filled the gap after Fanny and Johnny (shudders...)
