Grammar - does it matter muchly?

grammar? when writing, i think it's important. when speaking, if i understand what's being said, that's good enough for me. on the internetz and stuff, you'll notice, i rarely capitalise words. not for any other reason than i quite like the lower case form. if i'm writing on an actual piece of paper with real handwriting from a pen being held within my grasp, then it's natural for me to use correct spelling, grammar and punctuation...cheerypip

Grammar is so important for the survival of any language! Textspeak is only for those with half a brain who cant be bothered to think! Without grammar then English for that matter would become a mess and not the beautiful language that it is!!!
