Mrs Marmion has just informed me that the owners of a couple of horses at the yard where we keep our old nag have a couple of runners in the National - one of them is 2nd favourite, The Last Samurai. The other is called Kruzhlinin and is currently 25/1. I might stick a groat on them.

I thought they generally viewed the race as a bit cruel because of the gigantic jumps and number of injuries?
