Ahh, poor thing my weimaranet Bilbo got a cut at the same time....though not so bad. He seems to find it necessary to cut himself up on a regular basis. It's something to do with the way he chucks himself around at full pelt with no concern for what lies in his path.

I hasten to add he hasn't collided with any bikes or people though!

Norm- she always sleeps on my bed,and if its cold she sneaks under the duvet not that I spoil her

When we bought ours, the breeder said that he was pretty relaxed about most things but he would never sleep with his head covered.

Within 10 minutes of getting him home, he stuffed his head under my arm and dropped off and, ever since, he prefers sleeping with his head under something.

We have a spare duvet on the end of the bed, initially for him to sleep on but he now sleeps under it.

Sorry to hear that Lisa, its horrible when the hounds hurt themselves, but they soon forget why they have bandages/plaster casts on and chew the bloody things off!
