Lucy Locket did a similar thing a few years ago and was pleased to be able to wear a Starboard Mark for at least 10 minutes before ripping it off:

Ich bin Powerfrau!
My pooch was injured yonks ago and is now older and wiser.

I hope Millie is improving.

With Lucy we always had to get her to wear a space helmet if she had injuries as she insisted on unwrapping any bandaging:

We had a Lab a few years back. He was a big chap, over 40kgs but all muscle and he used to love running between people's legs. Even when wearing the flower pot.

Just got him back from the vets. Had to have a general anaesthetic. Lots of sub-cutaneous stitches but just split, he hasn't lost any of the pad.

He's very unsettled at the moment, lots of whining, doesn't quite know what to do with himself, poor lad. Settled him down on his cushion and sat next to him and he's falling asleep.

Oh bless him, I bet he is just so glad to be back home.
Millie is on the settee now, wrapped in her blanket, snoring:biggrin:
