Gravel tyres in 47-406

Hello,

I'm looking for gravel tyres or light MTB tyres for a footbike with 20" (ETRTO 406) wheels.

It seems the Schwalbe Smart Sam 20x1.85 comes closest to what I want:

• for ETRTO 406 rims
• roughly 47mm (1.75") up to 50mm width
• knobblier tread than the Continental Contact Urban
• light (roughly 400g per tyre)
• preferably no Schwalbe tyre

Do you have any recommendations?

Have your searched for folding BMX Race tyres ? Sounds like some of those might cover all your remit points…..

Seriously though, the rubber lovers website is a data base of bike tyres and will give you an idea of what's out there in 20" for gravel:

I have no direct experience of any of the tyres that are available in that size, but google a few, see what's available and look at the tread pattern. See if anything possibly looks suitable.
