Granddaughter & I visited Highgate Cemetery last summer.
It's an interesting place to visit with many famous people buried there.

I took a pre-sunrise dog walk through an eery cemetery; shrouded in fog - earlier this week. I’m not a believer in ghosts / spirits. And I wasn’t scared. But I’ll be honest - i wouldn’t wanna spend too much of my time here 🤣

While walking with my dog around my local cemetery yesterday I had an eerie experience. It was about 4.45 so almost dark, when I heard someone creepily call out my name! I thought "Heck, this could be a long dead relative or friend finally contacting me"! Then I heard the 'dead relative or friend' say "Do you have a light, as in cigarette lighter or a box of matches? I need a light"! on shining my torch I saw It wasn't a long gone relative or friend but one of the local 'down and outs' I know, bedding down for the night, in need of a light for his roll up!

Taken yesterday in Great Harwood, Lancashire cemetery. I noticed the red roses the other day on every armed services, world wars 1 and 2 graves in there. They were most likely put there by the Royal British Legion to commemorate the 80th anniversary of VE day this week.

Ne'er had any problems with graveyards themselves, but I have no need to hang about in any, so wouldn't.

It's the living you need to watch out for anyway.
