Saw someone heading down the High Street at lunch time on a green Carlton with shiny decals. The rider had similar hair to yours!
Think have seen the bike around town once before, probably not so well-loved as yours...

Been at the computer all day...

I used to work in exeter until 95.

Anyway managed to put the rear wheel out of true on my Continental when the rear mech cage hit the spokes after a jockey wheel axle nut came loose... damn!
