Greenwich Park info required

The web site says that as from 1st October the gates will shut at 7pm and then at 6pm once the clocks go back.

I usually pass through about 6.15, so 6pm will cause problems, are they strict on the closing times for cars and bikes? I wouldnt want to get locked in!!

If so I will just have to ride up the side roads instead.

I think they close the inward gates well before they close the outward gates. So if the way in is shut I wouldn't advise crossing the road and going in the exit. But they have a look-see for stragglers in the park from the road first anyway, so unless you're hiding in the bushes, you'll be fine.
